Ahhh the foibles of youth. Wine Nomad is Rebecca Littlemore. After 5 years at University, officially an Interior Architect who loves Interiors and Architecture but can't deny the pull of the food and wine world.
A running theme throughout my life has been travel and food. As an extension of this wine has become the centre of both of these endeavours. Trips to France become trips to Reims, San Francisco becomes Napa Valley, New Zealand? Marlborough, Nelson, Hawkes Bay. Closer to home – Sydney Australia, I am slowly moving my way around the country – Barossa Valley, Adelaide Hills, Geelong, Mornington Peninsula, Yarra Valley, Hunter Valley, Orange and Canberra District.
And so it begins ... Wine Nomad is now a seedling. The problem being the shape of the bud or even what will grow no one knows – can’t wait to find out!
Wine Nomad is a way of keeping track of this haphazard approach to “research” as I’m fond of calling it. Bear with me as we search out the best of the best, the best of the new and the best of the small wineries, producers, restaurants and everything food/wine related. Please forgive my dalliances to interiors, architecture, photography and design related posts that may occasionally pop up – these continue to inspire as always.
